Whether you’re gazing out at a Mediterranean sunset from a swanky rooftop bar or cosied up in the corner of a stylish Berlin drinking den, few cocktails instil that holiday feeling as elegantly as an expertly mixed G&T. When it comes to concocting one of your own back home, however, the results often just aren’t as satisfying (no matter how many sprigs of thyme or pink peppercorns you’ve inserted into your glass).

Thankfully, the secret to perfecting this quintessential classic is simpler than it looks; the crucial element being the right gin, which brings us nicely to Bombay Sapphire.

There’s a reason why you can find a bottle of Bombay Sapphire on the shelf of every cocktail bar from here to Timbuktu. It’s all down to a unique combination of 10 hand-selected botanicals from around the world that help bring something special to every glass.

The chosen botanicals are then placed in a perforated copper basket and, during a process called Vapour Infusion, rising spirit vapours delicately permeate the aromatic flavours, giving Bombay Sapphire a bright, fresh taste perfect for experimentation.

Don’t believe us? Why not give the recipe at the bottom of this article a try and see for yourself.

So, whether you’re searching for the perfect refreshment to serve at your late-summer soiree or simply want to take your mixology game to the next level, a measure of Bombay Sapphire will ensure you never serve a lacklustre G&T ever again.
