The buzzy bars and resorts are mostly clustered around the island’s south, where you can also shriek your way around Siam waterpark in the morning and build sandcastles on the beach by the afternoon. Venture inland and the volcanic island takes on a different vibe, with Pico del Teide, Spain’s tallest mountain, providing a dramatic moon-esque landscape and excellent stargazing.
