Since 4 October 2021, the UK government has simplified its travel restriction guidance. Now, there is only a red list of countries.

The ‘amber’ classification has now gone – and everything that is not on the red list is now ‘green’ by default. Here is all the information you need to know about travelling to a ‘green’ country.

As before, the UK government has stated that red list countries should not be visited “except in the most extreme of circumstances”, and travel to and from them is effectively banned.

What easyJet countries are on the UK’s red list?

Montenegro is the only easyJet-served country on the UK’s red list. easyJet flies to Tivat.

You can find an up-to-date list of red-listed countries on the UK government site.

If you have visited any red list country in the past 10 days you can only enter the UK if you are a UK or Irish national or a UK resident.

Flying to the UK from a red list country

Irrespective of your vaccination status, if you are travelling to the UK from a red list country you will need to do the following take a COVID-19 test before you fly; complete a passenger locator form; and isolate for 10 days in a quarantine hotel, which you will have to book and pay for in advance.

The rates for quarantine hotels are exorbitantly high, with a stay for one adult costing £2,285 for an adult; £1,430 for an additional adult; and £325 for a child aged five to 11.
